Volvograms is the sonic residue of forgotten transmissions, a fusion of nostalgia and futurism wrapped in cold, decayed textures. Rooted in Vancouver, Volvograms emerged from a childhood immersed in the hypnotic rotation of MTV's golden era, where music videos were portals to new worlds. The rhythmic pull of live drums became an obsession, a foundation that would later evolve through deep dive into electronic experimentation. As DAWs replaced drum kits, early influences shifted from the raw aggression of heavy metal to the surreal, dreamlike landscapes crafted by Boards of Canada and Aphex Twin.
